This is a documentary of Silverline Hospital, Kochi, Kerala that featured me, Loy Machedo as I prepared myself for the Bariatric Surgery or The Gastric Bypass Mini Surgery.
Even though a few segments featured here have been reenacted, the overall experience of what was shown is 100% true. For instance, the walking towards the hospital, the registration, the checking of the weight and blood pressure was already complete by the time the Creative and Marketing crew arrived. However, the endoscopy, the operation, and the recovery was 100% true and in real time.
The purpose of this video is not only to educate people on what goes on before a person gets under the knife for a weight loss surgery like the Bariatric Surgery, but Silverline Hospital's main focus was to ensure that whomsoever thought of undergoing this procedure could see it through the eyes of a patient - namely me.
The whole experience of the Silverline Hospital Bariatric Surgery Documentary was thanks to the effort of Silverline Hospital and the visionary CEO - Dr. Tom Babu and yes, his entire team that made this possible. Without each and everyone in the team - this documentary couldn't have been pulled off within one day. Even the camera, the production, and the creative team put in everything they had to make this documentary possible.
